I received a notification that I had to reconfigure my Versa 2's wallet because of the Google takeover. I did it. It was painful. But frankly useless since now when I select wallet I just get a pic of my card and the wheel of death. I rely heavily on the wallet and now instead of convenience of on my wrist payments, I have to unpack whatever I'm carrying and pull out my wallet, then find the card, and use the card instead.
The two main reasons for the fitbit were heart rate (now worthless because of reported bug) and payments. You know if I replace the device I'm not going to choose a Google product.

I'm in the same situation with a Versa 3. Contacted Fitbit and Google Wallet support 3 month ago and nothing happened. Worst support ever for me.

Social media support is a better bet for any of the IT companies. But that said, I was referred to the instructions that I'd already followed and a list of US supported banks.
