Want Versa to vibrate for notifications even if phone is on silent - possible?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I want to keep my Android phone (Pixel2 XL) on silent (but not "Do Not Disturb"), but I still want my Versa to vibrate for calls/texts. How can I get this to work? (If I have the phone on ring or vibrate, then the Versa vibrates just fine.) This worked fine with my previous Android (WearOS) watch, but can't seem to get it to work with the Versa.

Have you made sure the always vibrate toggle is set to on in the notification settings in the fitbit app?

Toggling the Always Vibrate to on should work, like @N8teGee said. This past weekend I wanted my phone on DnD during sleep as I kept receiving calls and messages and even after completely silencing my Android phone, my Versa still vibrated and woke me up.

There's a setting on the Versa itself that should help with that.

Settings app - scroll down to notifications - scroll down to during sleep (receive calls and notifications) - set to off. This should prevent you from actually getting notifications once your asleep.

I don't have this feature on my fitbit app where I get to toggle Always Vibrate.  I'm with iOS.  Does this make a difference.  Fitbit watch is only 2 months old, if even..

Vibrates for movement reminders, alarms when on silent but not for calls and messages

I do not have "vibration settings" in my notifications.
