There is no need to register your fitbit and the warranty runs for 12 months from purchase (or 24 months if you are in Europe). There are some conditions though - you can read the full terms at https://www.fitbit.com/in/legal/returns-and-warranty
The first step in a warranty claim is to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com
Before you do that, is the problem anything that we in the community may be able to help with?

Are you in the UK? https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/advice/i-want-to-return-my-goods-what-are-my-rights
Your Consumer rights 'what & that you can or cannot do or expect' are listed here:
UK only: https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act
If not in the UK? As @SteveH has already correctly advised ✔

So if there is not any problem then we didn't have to contact Fitbit care this only applies when you are facing such issues to claim warranty I didn't face such issue right now because I am new to Fitbit and so confirming that claiming warranty is mandatory or not thanks btw

That's correct - if you don't have an issue then you don't need to do anything.

It doesn’t matter because they don’t really do anything if something goes wrong with your Fitbit! My Fitbit is in the retailer for a month now and I heard nothing back. Contacted the support center and heard nothing back. Posted in the community and heard nothing back.
Bought my Fitbit 8 months ago in Germany and now live in Norway.
