Warranty in the UK - when does it start?

Hi, if i purchase a fitbit from Currys - but planning to register it to my account next month, does my warranty trigger/start the 2 years in one month when i register to my account or the date of purchase on the receipt with currys?

The warranty terms (see link at the bottom of this page) say it's from the date of purchase:

 

"Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and accessories that are new (the "New Product(s)") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, except that if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you purchased your Fitbit product in the EEA, the warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase"

My tracker is getting blank lines in the display.

I bought my tracker on Red Rock UK September last year.

How can I request a return authorization number?

@SCSPEREIRA the first step in a warranty claim is to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com The telephone or web chat options would be the easiest.

Does this mean 2 year guarantee if brought in UK?

I bought my fitbit in August 2021 and fitbit support have advised it is out of warranty, any idea what I can do as it had stopped working. I have a case number but they have just offerd me a discount on a new watch rather  than a replacement.

I got offered a replacement device or 50% off a new device
