Watch is not accurately tracking runs

Hi,

I go the versa 2 at Christmas and everything was ok to being with but the past 2/3 weeks whenever I go for a 5 kilometer run, the Fibit looks as if it is tracking the run but it can come up as anything from 3km to 5km when finished.

Does this happen anyone else? Do you know how I can fix it?

What phone are you using? Is it on Fitbits fully compatible phone list? If not they'll tell you its the phone fault for  the app not reading the GPS correctly and there's nothing they can do.

I am aware of this but why was it tracking perfectly in the beginning and
is on and off now? This doesn't make sense

I'm in the same boat. My fitbit tracked perfectly for 12 months, then after the last firmware update its half a mile off over a four mile run. Fitbit support were clueless and basically said its because the phone isn't supported. Still doesn't explain why it worked fine.
