Watch screen won’t change from “set up wallet”

Watch is unable to do anything.  If I move my wrist it lights up with screen that says set up wallet.  Side button, Versa2, does not work for any function, this stopped working a few weeks prior to current issue, but I hadn’t tried to resolve it.  Watch will still sync, so I can se relevant data on my phone, but the watch itself dies nothing.  No clock face, no heart rate monitor , steps etc.  I don’t use a lot of the other functions.  The only other thing that dies work is an incoming text will show, but

It cut off the rest of my message... as soon as text comes through, it goes back to “set up

wallet.

 

spoke Friday w two different techs via chat.  First tried to tell me I was out of warranty, purchased 12-2-19, so only 7 months old.  Second said I’d already replaced this.  I have not!  Then said someone would be in touch with options.  As far as I’m concerned, a replacement is the only viable option!!  Should be covered under warranty.
