Watch stuck in Fitbit symbol mode

My watch will not come off of the Fitbit symbol screen. This has happened a few times in the last year and can take up to two weeks for it to rectify itself. So fed up with it. Can anyone advise?

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary. Hold down the back button until the Icon disappears.

Hi, I’ve done that a number of times to no avail.
Totally exasperated by it.
