I have the Versa 2 and an S9+ that I sync it with. The watch started randomly vibrating with no notifications and everytime it vibrates I see that the heart rate isn't being measured. The heart rate monitor starts working after about 45 seconds. This affects my battery as I'm now down 50% in a day vs I used to go 7 days easily. I have already reset it, both the soft and hard reset where you hold the button to recode the software. The screensaver I'm using doesn't have a notification thing so I know it's not that either. The watch is clean and I usually never get it near water other than washing my hands.

I found the answer, it's a background update that was pending over time because it takes up to 48 hours to complete. They shred battery life and cause issues but the more you sync the quicker it downloads. And hopefully that will fix my problem 🤞

Mine has been doing this as well..except I see that it hasn't tracked my HR for a week now. How did you find the pending background update?

You cant see the update on our end if you contact Fitbit support and ask about if there is a background update pending they will tell you what percent you're downloaded
