Water Logging syncs incorrect amount to app (RESOLVED)

After installing the latest firmware update, whenever I log 8 oz. on my watch, it syncs to my mobile device as 0.27 oz.  Moreover, when I log 4 oz. and 12 oz., it syncs as 0.14 oz. and 0.41 oz., respectively.  There's definitely a bug in there!

I think we can by pretty sure that this won't be fixed until the next firmware update for the watch.

My current firmware on my Versa 2 is 35.70.714  which is broken water logging

Hopefully we will see an update soon

There is also an issue with adding weight.
On my Fitbit I added my current weight of 260. Noticed today on the app on my phone that my weight was recorded as 574. So assuming I just did it wrong. So I added 1 pound on my Fitbit to see. And my Fitbit is set to lbs. but it’s being read as kgs. I added 1 lb on my Fitbit and it changed it to 2.2 lbs on the mobile app.

I had been using the Aire 2 scale for weight, so I had not input via the watch.

but doing it now for a test seems to be broken as well.

that doesn't seem like a solution. Do you have an update on this issue yet?

Until it gets fixed I looked up how many milliliters are in 12 ounces of water, which is what I drink six times a day.  So I'm logging it as 354 each time!

Mine is doing a similar thing, logging a 16.9 oz. bottle as 2.2 oz. The water logging feature has always been suspect. I'll enter the water I drink daily and it won't sync. Then on the fourth or fifth day, I'll get an announcement that I did it! with 2-300 oz of water. That's been happening since I owned it.

This is ridiculous! Water logging hasn't worked since I got my Versa over a year ago. The solution is not to close the thread that everyone was griping on and mark it as "resolved." It is now worse than ever! Before, it would log on the watch but not transfer to phone or computer. Now, if I put 16 oz on watch it shows .5. If I put 9999 oz on watch it shows up a minute later as 339.2. And now when I exercise, half of the time when I check next day it shows I didn't exercise at all!!! I wish I never got the watch. The frustration is unbelievable. And the Versa crew is doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO FIX IT.

If I find out mine's not recording my exercise properly...I'm done.

I am doing the same thing. 236 for 8oz. The only odd think is that I still have to edit the app. My goal is 64oz. At the end of the day, it reads 63.9, yet all the entries in the app are 8oz..

Agree...very disappointing.

It’s comical how a device boasts that it can do things but even something as simple as water logging on the watch can’t be done right. I was just telling a friend I was skeptical buying a 3rd party “smart watch”... serves me right should have saved for an Apple Watch. Basic bugs don’t & WON’T get fixed on 3rd party devices. My First & last Fitbit...

I solved the problem!  I'm returning my Christmas present for a refund.  I refuse to support a company that continues to sell products that don't work AND then ignores the valid complaints of the customers.  I suggest everyone do the same and perhaps then they'll get the message.

I'm going to email. Had mine about 6mo so I cannot return. If my email goes unanswered I will happily start complaining on Twitter. That often does the trick.

I would except I've had mine since last Christmas

@Redyder  That's because 8 oz is actually 236.588236 milliliters.  I log 354 for 12oz.  It comes out to 71.8 oz at the end of the day instead of 72.  So I just changed my goal to 71.8.  I used a converter from ounces to milliliters online to mess around with what numbers to use.

I took my complaints to a 1-star review of the Fitbit app in my app store (Google Playstore) with my complaints left in the review. Maybe they'll wake up when their rating takes a hit
