Fitbit Update: 12/18/19
Hi everyone,
When this thread started earlier this year, the issue was that waterlogging on the watch was not syncing over to the Fitbit app. No matter what you would log, it just wouldn't show up in the Fitbit app and didn't sync the information over.
Now, we're seeing reports that waterlogging is syncing over, but it is the wrong amount of water that was logged onto the watch. To keep threads organized and on-topic, I'm now going to close this thread and move the conversation here: Water Logging syncs incorrect amount to app.I've already merged some posts from this thread into that one.
If you're experiencing this new issue after updating to Fitbit OS 4.1, follow that thread for updates.

I am also having the same issue, I have been logging my water intake on my Versa for days now and then I went on the app there and it says i have drank over 3,000ml of water today....which is so untrue!
Is someone looking into fixing this or what as this should not be happening.....!

I have the FitBit Versa and I’m also having the water logging issue when I try and add water from my watch. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app and it still doesn’t work. Ive also noticed that since the latest update, my app isn’t showing my hourly movement progress. It shows on my watch that I’ve completed at least 250 steps an hour but not on the app. How do I fix that??!!

I wouldn't hold your breath. It's basically 4 months to the day that this was first reported and it's never been fixed. The software is not very good on this device. One of the main reasons why I sold mine. I gave up waiting for fixes like this.

@JuanJoFitbit I don't recall if it was in this thread or a different one but you told us to update the Fitbit Today app. That is incorrect because there is no update.

Is this problem still unsolved? Just bought my Versa, and the water log made with the device doesn't sync to my phone.

Anything I post on my Versa Lite watch does not link to my Fitbit app on my phone. I try to log in my water and weight but it dordoes go over. If I enter it in my phone app it will show up on my watch. I just don't know what to do.

Hi,
Is there any update on this?
I have done so many restarts, syncing, etc etc etc that all the forums recommend and still nothing.
I am using an iPhone also.
My main concern is that when I log water on my watch, it stays on the "water logged at x:xx" and doesn't show me my total.

For those still asking if there's an update or if this issue is fixed yet...
As a moderator stated a few posts up: "Thank you so much for trying the advice shared previously. This information has been sent to our team and they're aware of the issue. I appreciate your patience and time as our team actively works on a fix. Once an update and a solution is available, we'll make sure to post it in the Community."

Honestly all I did was delete the device from my phone and paired it again and it worked like a charm. My water and weight syncs properly.
Not to mention doing this solved the annoying battery drain issue that’s also present on the device. So delete your watch from your phone and pair it again and it will remedy this issue.
Your Firmware isn’t broken. It works great. I honestly think it has to do with the devices it pairs with.

Delete the device from your phone and force the app to go through the process of finding your watch. Everything will work from that point after everything is confirmed.
If you have to enter a four digit code then this solidifies the issue and remedies it.

Okay I want to add a bit of info here.
I used to stay at different places during weekdays and weekend, having WiFi only for 2 days a week. Turns out it only successfully syncs when the watch is connected to WiFi (on Sat and Sun).
For the past 2 weeks, I've had access to WiFi 24x7 and no longer face this problem.
Now this could be a coincidence, but there has been no other change in my routine. Hope this helps some people.

The water log issue still persists on my Ionic.
Water intakes logged on the Ionic's Today are not synced with Fitbit App.

I have the same problem. I will log water on my Fitbit versa watch, and it doesn’t show the total amount. It just shows the last I logged. Frustrating. How can I fix this?
