Fitbit Update: 12/18/19

Hi everyone,

When this thread started earlier this year, the issue was that waterlogging on the watch was not syncing over to the Fitbit app. No matter what you would log, it just wouldn't show up in the Fitbit app and didn't sync the information over.

Now, we're seeing reports that waterlogging is syncing over, but it is the wrong amount of water that was logged onto the watch. To keep threads organized and on-topic, I'm now going to close this thread and move the conversation here: Water Logging syncs incorrect amount to app.I've already merged some posts from this thread into that one.

If you're experiencing this new issue after updating to Fitbit OS 4.1, follow that thread for updates.

  • Force quit and then restart the Fitbit app
  • Restart Today app on Versa and wait at least a minute

Had mine for 7 months. No fix. Not working on it. Not interested in it.
Or, another option, they have worst techs in the world and can't figure
it out. But they'll prolly delete this message for being too negative.
Take your watch back before its too late

@Fitlark sorry to hear you don't like your Fitbit. I love mine. Had it almost a year. Won't be returning it.

It’s not the fact that I don’t like the Fitbit, but the feature should work. It was working and then it broke.

I'm having problem trying to sync from device to fitbit app. Had try all the solutions suggested by the fitbit community but still doesn't work. I think it only worked once or twice then sometimes it showed incorrect entry.

Please solve problem asap. Thank you.

I don’t want to believe that nobody works to solve this problem, but my perception is the other way around.

@Fitlark it's really quite sad and not funny at all, but your straight-faced comment made me LOL. Oh God, I hope you're wrong. Have we not been more than fair enough? More than patient enough?

I’m having this issue today. Fully up to date and I’ve rebooted and reset everything but it hasn’t helped. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have done all that you have listed but still not functioning. Sometimes it showed wrong data input and sync problem is intermitten and when I try to sync manually it keep searching my versa for a long time and could not find it and I have restarted both my hp and watch many times but still does not work.

I just got the Versa Lite on 6/29.

It doesn't sync the water either.

It also doesn't sync weight when I enter it in.

Given the amount of time that this has been an issue I think two possible
options only are in play: 1) They can't fix it and have given up; 2) They
won't fix it for whatever reason and don't plan to (or it would have been
done by now).

It shouldn’t take 6 months to fix a bug like this.
