Fitbit Update: 12/18/19
Hi everyone,
When this thread started earlier this year, the issue was that waterlogging on the watch was not syncing over to the Fitbit app. No matter what you would log, it just wouldn't show up in the Fitbit app and didn't sync the information over.
Now, we're seeing reports that waterlogging is syncing over, but it is the wrong amount of water that was logged onto the watch. To keep threads organized and on-topic, I'm now going to close this thread and move the conversation here: Water Logging syncs incorrect amount to app.I've already merged some posts from this thread into that one.
If you're experiencing this new issue after updating to Fitbit OS 4.1, follow that thread for updates.

Mine has been working for about a week so far.
I tried it last week and all of a sudden I have like 60,000 oz logged for one day. I was mad a couple of months ago and entered in a bunch of numbers because it wasn't working lol
But fingers crossed that it stays working

@Simreality Good to know. I'll keep checking it to see if it starts to work. Personally I think some of the problems people have is perhaps because they are using a third party app, that has the potential to cause issues that no one can figure out. I speak from experience. I bought the original Versa when it first came out and I was using one of the third party clock faces and it caused all kinds of problems. I ended up returning it but QVC had the Versa Lite as a TSV not too long ago and I could not pass up the deal. All the really important stuff is working just fine.

I have had a lot of the same issues with my verse and I’ve never used a third party app. Reading the issues on the forum is one of the reasons I’ve been scared to to try third party apps. It has enough problems on its own I don’t want to make it worse with third party apps.

When I saw water logged I read it as water getting in my versa.

Did this issue ever get resolved?? Doesn't seem like it, which is really disappointing. I just got a versa lite, and so far it's been more of a headache working out the bugs than helpful.
I tried everything suggested in the first and last few pages of this thread -- force quitting, uninstalling the app, restarting the phone and watch, reinstalling the app. No luck. Water logged on the watch doesn't sync with the phone. Plus, instead of showing a daily total, watch shows what was logged last plus a weekly average, which isn't helpful.
HAS FITBIT DEVELOPED A WORKING SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM, WHICH IS A YEAR OLD?!?!?!

Hi - I just purchased a versa lite four days ago. I put my ounces in on versa and it is not updating the app after sync and I put my ounces in the app and not updating the versa after sync. Everything else seems to be syncing fine. I tried the troubleshooting steps below twice and they did not help. Please let me know if there's something else I can try. Thanks.

I just got my versa 2 this week. It's doing the same thing. The steps are sinking but the water entered is not. Have they found a fix for this yet?

I'm having the same issue with the Versa 2. I followed the steps for the Versa 1, like mobile synch, restart Fitbit app and restart Fitbit watch. Nothing.
All water logged at the app does show sometimes in the Fitbit, but the one done in the watch never reflects in the app.
I do get notifications from smart home appliances, emails, chat, etc.
Any ETA on this fix? As it seems is coming from the Versa 1. I don't have too much hope as that one is still not working.
