It's very important to me to track water but I am unable to do so using the Versa 2.
I have tried using the Fitbit access and entering 30 US ounces, which appears on my Versa 2 correctly until it syncs with my Android phone. Then the number changes to 1 US ounce.
If I enter water using the Fitbit phone app it does sync accurately to my Versa 2, but the whole point is to quickly enter my water using the Versa 2.
I have tried multiple 3rd party apps (Water Logged, Ionic) but they also do not sync to Fitbit.

This is a known issue and supposedly the development team is working on a fix. The issue is that entering fluid ounces through the watch converts the units to milliliters when it sends the information to your phone.
You can confirm this by using the Google ml to fl converter: https://www.google.com/search?q=ml+to+fl+oz&rlz=1C1GCEU_enUS878US878&oq=ml+to+fl&aqs=chrome.0.0l2j69...

The worst part is that it was working fine until their big OS update. You'd think that would be a detail they wouldn't want to mess up...

Edit to my original response. I thought I had a different issue but indeed, it is an ml to fl.oz conversion issue. I tested this by putting in 150 "fl oz." (actual fluid ounces converted to ml) into my Versa 2 watch, which is approximately 5 fl.oz. When it synced, it synced correctly to 5.1 oz. The issue definitely needs to be fixed in an update so that it is the same conversion rate. For the time being, you can essentially multiple your ounces by 30 and get roughly what you actually drank to sync correctly with the app.
Side note: It would be nice if there was a properties option to allow people to track water intake by ml or fl.oz IF they are consistent between the watch and app.

What a weird bug to have in the software! My container at work is 30 ounces, so I enter 30 ounces. But yes, you are right! I tried entering 900 fl oz. on my Versa 2, and it synced to 30.43 oz. This is incredibly frustrating. Fitbit, please keep this open and find a solution!
I have tried changing my water units to ml and to US cup, but have not had consistent success either.

I have seen the same issue. As it stands now, I am entering 798 for each 27 oz bottle I clear. At least most bottled water/water bottles do have mL listed so I don't have to google the conversions every time! I look forward to a fix.

I had the same problem, but I'm happy to report that the 35.70.7.21 firmware fixes the problem.

Same here. Noticed the other day. Oz on my Versa are now Oz on my iPhone! Yay!
