Water tracking on versa? No + to add?

Got versa for Christmas, can't track water, tile displays but no + to add?

@mwest99 what your phone model and OS? I'm assuming you're running the latest Versa firmware (3.0) and using the latest version of Fitbit mobile app. Open Fitbit mobile app and check if in Versa Apps there's an update available for Today app. If there's one, update, and sync your tracker. You can also try rebooting your tracker several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right button until Fitbit logo flashes. If this does not help try placing your Versa for charging for several hours, it might update automatically.

I have a Moto Force Z2, it is current with updates.  I have the newest Versa update also.  I have tried rebooting and also placing on the charger.  No change.  Thanks for your suggestions.

@mwest99 Try logging out and back in to Fitbit mobile app and check for Today app updates. If this does not help, try reinstalling Fitbit mobile app, of course the latest version. Finally, you can try installing Fitbit mobile app and syncing your phone with other mobile device, like iPhone if you have an access to it. Sometimes updates on Droid and iOS for apps do not go in parallel.

I have this exact same problem. My Versa SE updated to the newest version, I can set water as one of my icons in Today, but I don't have the + sign to add water. My boyfriend has an Ionic, and his has the + sign, which is the only way I realize mine was missing.

@OracleLunaFaye Well, my + sign has disappeared as well... I did have it, now I don't. I guess we will need a fix for that bug.

Mine is the same! Just realised I should have a '+' but don't. Checked my husband's Ionic and he has.

@Carlotta7 Uninstall fitbit app, reboot your phone and Versa (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo appears), place Versa in a charging dock, open the app and sync several times. This may take a while but Today app on your Versa should update again.

Unfortunately, this hasn't worked. I reinstalled the phone app, rebooted the Versa, synced about a dozen times and nothing. I then tried rebooting the Versa again but still no '+' Also tried removing the water from the Today app and then re-adding it, but the '+' just won't appear 😞

@Carlotta7 At this point, I would try performing factory reset (restoring to factory defaults), and leaving on the charger for several hours while the tracker updates. Factory reset will wipe your Versa, so please sync first. You will also need to delete your tracker from your Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. You can perform factory reset by going to Settings on your Versa, scrolling down to About and tapping Factory Reset. Once Versa resets to factory defaults, you will need to set it up again by adding it as a replacement device in the Fitbit mobile app.
