Water under my Versa screen after a shower!

I am having an issue with water under the LED screen of my Versa. I know this watch is water resistant, so I’m confused as to why this is even an issue I’m having. First, I never wear my watch in water. I know technically it can be worn in water, but I never wanted to take the chance. So imagine my surprise when I accidentally wear my watch into the shower and shrug it off assuming it’ll be fine, for the LED to be completely unresponsive. Eventually, the backlight came on but nothing is on the screen except the water underneath that I can see spreading as I type this. What makes this entire experience even more annoying is that this is MY SECOND Versa. My LED died on my first one out of nowhere and that one was never in water and Fitbit replaced it for free. At this point, I don’t even want this stupid watch anymore. I’m moving towards just giving Apple even more of my money to have a product that at least functions and doesn’t be have to be replaced every 6 months because this is ridiculous. Clearly, Fitbit is unreliable and makes faulty products.
