Way to TURN OFF a new feature?!?!

With the new Versa IOS update, there's now a drop-down "thing" giving a shortcut to music and quick settings.  IT'S IN THE WAY WHEN I WANT TO LOOK AT MY NOTIFICATIONS NOW!  😞  I have to swipe it away.  Every.  Time.  Is there a way to disable?

@SunsetRunner   The item you are seeing is a shortcut to your Music Control and your Quick Settings.  It should disappear in about two seconds.  If your is not disappearing, try restarting your Versa.

I appreciate the reply.  Thank you.  However, it's a shortcut I don't need.  And I don't want.  I was fine without it.  Is there a way to disable it.

@SunsetRunner   Not at this time.  I am equally annoyed by this feature.  I searched the Feature Suggestions forum and found that is is already  requested .  I am going to vote for it as soon as I post this response.
