Weather App constantly wants to be synched

My weather app always needs to be synch'ed before it will display location, temp, and other weather data.  Is this common?  Kind of makes it a non-useful app if that is the case.

Hi, the weather app needs to be synced when you start the day and have not synced it with the Firbit app. Thereafter it needs no syncing anymore to show the right weather information. That is to say, when you only synced once a day, yes it can happen that after a lot of hours your Versa tells you to sync again in orde to get the right information of the weather app. With regards to myself: I sync my Versa directly in the morning and after that two or three times to see my own progress and the weather app always functions perfect.

Thank you for the input.  My Versa found my location this morning and accurately reported the weather once it synched to the app.  The issue I have is it does not accurately reflect my location.  It followed me to work and changed cities just fine this morning.  Now when I am working out of my home office – 20 miles north of the main office location – it still reports my location as the main office.  If the Versa needs to be constantly synched with my phone I might just as well be using the Weather Channel App on my phone.  Thought it would be nice to have the data on my wrist.  Maybe the app isn’t fully baked as yet.
