I have some wireless headphones that connect via Bluetooth but for some reason the Versa isn't picking them up, does anyone know anyone know if i need fitbit headphones or a certain type? Thank you.

Try switching which wrist wears the Versa. Made a huge difference for me.

I have the exact same problem as you, but mine is Xiaomi. Did you solve it? Thanks.

I did get my Treks headphones to work but I can't promise you that this is 'the answer'. I shutdown my Galaxy S8 and Versa for a few minutes, then restarted both. Then following the Treks instructions the only thing I did different was while Treks was scanning I went to music control on Versa and started a scan. They were both scanning at the same time and within seconds were connected. Have not had any problems since. Hope this helps.

THANK YOU!!!
I know this thread is a little old. But, but I just bought a Versa and the music through my earphones was horrible and choppy! Very disappointing considering the reason I bought it was to listen to music on my run. After searching though Google and Fitbit I found I wasn't the only one with the problem. I left my Versa ok my desk at home while I pouted on my runs for a week. One last search of hope took me to this thread, where I found your comment. And all the comments that followed showed that your suggested brand of Skullcandy worked for a lot of people. Only thing is, I live in Australia and we have no Walmart. With fingers crossed, I googled if one of our local stores sells that brand AND same style you have: ink'd. YES! So, knowing the return policy is zilch, I bought them anyway. Held my breath while I connected them to my Versa (while sitting in the parking lot😂) AND THEY WORK!
Many thanks.

I had a pair of Jlab headphones and they worked great plus they were under $20. Unfortunately I broke them while on a run so I went out and bough the exact same ones I had before, but now these ones wont work. I exchanged them thinking there was something wrong with them and got another pair but still exact same brand and model and nope they still wont work and ive done everything. Rebooted, shut down, factory reset, placed on the other wrist and nothing is helping and it kind of pisses me off because its the same model. I dont get it. They pair fine with all my electronics including my versa. When they pair and it says battery full and it says on and off they sound clear, but when it plays music it sounds like garbage and I just dont understand it. If i use them on my phone to listen to music they sound clear as well.

I've tried several truly wireless earbuds courtesy Amazon cyber monday/boxing day. Here's my results:
Works:
Don't work:
Thus far, every bluetooth device I've attempted (wireless, truly wireless, speaker) has no issues making an initial connection and getting audio to stream, but the watch seems to fail miserably at completing the pairing process with higher end earbuds. Of note: every single device tested has worked perfectly in every way with my Android phone, Android table, and Windows laptop. The watch is the only thing the doesn't work properly.

OMG I have read these links going back a year or so and problem is still there as I got my watch yesterday. I wish I had read reviews. If they just told us what earphones to get that work then I would be happy. Or when selling watch supply workable earphones compatable with the item. I am so disappointed as lobe fit bit, love the versa and was dying to get I to shape with the music as I suffer from clots but guess I will have to still carry phone with me. This is my 4th fitbit and will prob be my last.
