In your User Manual, see page 17 for button descriptions and page 28 for choosing a clock face.

Page 17 is not helpful for button usage. It only indicates Back, Top, & Bottom. I still am not sure what the Top and Bottom buttons do.

Hi @VersaMaMa - If you start at page 17, then scroll to read thru to page 21, you will see information on the various button functions and how they work differently when in different screens. But ...

Simply put, from the clock face:

  1. Pressing and holding the left button allows you to enable/disableScreen wake and notifications. Press the same button to go back to the clock face. It’s pretty much a back button from any screen.
  2. Pressing and holding the top, right button takes you to Notifications. Simply pressing it takes you to Alarms.
  3. Pressing the bottom, right button takes you directly to Fitbit Coach.

I learned how they worked by playing with them ... pressing and seeing what happens. 🙂

Hmm....maybe the recent update changed things....this is what the buttons on my new Versa 1 do:

Short press Left Button - brings up watch face, i.e., turns watch on.

Long press Left Button - brings up exercise options.

Short press Top Right Button - turns watch on. When watch already on, brings up same exercise options list as long press on back button (left button).

Long press Top Right Button - brings up Notifications.

Short or Long pressing Bottom Right Button turns watch on, does absolutely nothing else from the watch face unless used in conjunction with Left Button, when it restarts or resets, depending on length and combination of presses.

Maybe it works when there’s a different screen up, no idea. I’ve tried it with every screen I can bring up, but it seems to do nothing.

What is it supposed to do?
