What is the most accurate Fitbit Smartwatch? I have the Versa 2 and have been thinking that it is not tracking my distance accurately, nor my pace, so I compared distance/pace with Run Tracker and sure enough the Versa was shorting me as much as a mile! I also drove my route just to verify the RT and sure enough, RT was spot on...
So this just makes me quite upset and I have found other posts complaining of the same issue. I like using a Smart watch but does Fitbit offer an accurate one or do I need to change brands?
I would love some honest feedback please.
Thank you!

Hi @Kayrod13 ,
Just out of curiosity, what does your Run Tracker use as metrics to calculate distance? It may be different than what Fitbit uses, which may be why you're seeing a difference.

It uses GPS and is looks to be very accurate and again matches the distance of my car when I travel my walking route. For my Fitbit tracker to be showing a mile or more less is quite frustrating...

The distance on your Fitbit is measured by your stride length, so that explains the inaccuracy. The two apps are using different metrics.

What @DramaQueenDiva said: despite having GPS (embedded or connected) Fitbit trackers use steps multiplied by stride (and some unknown corrective factors) to calculate distance. This is as found out by users as Fitbit position is always that GPS is used when this is not the case.
