I received the attached refurbished fitbit as a gift. There was no product information included. It looks like it's either a Sense or a Versa. How would I determine what type of fitbit it is? Thanks!

Hello @STG_CMXIV and welcome to the Community. Because it has 3 buttons, it is either a Versa or a Versa Special Edition. The Versa Special Edition has the NFC chip.
A Versa 2 and a Versa Lite only have one button. A Versa 3 has a haptic button, a button that's not a button, more of an indentation.
Sense models have the ECG hardware. There are definite stainless steel contacts on the reverse. There is no Sense model with three buttons.

@STG_CMXIV Welcome to the forums. @LZeeW Thanks for your amazing help!
@STG_CMXIV Thanks for sharing this information and the picture of the device you received. As our friend mentioned, you have a Fitbit Versa device on your hand since it has 3 buttons. In order to know what edition you have, just check the back of your watch and if Fitbit Pay is listed in the text surrounding the heart rate sensor, your watch has an NFC chip which means it's the special edition.
If you want to learn more about the Fitbit Versa, I'd recommend the User Manual which includes important information about the watch and its features.
By the way, I've moved your posts to the Other Versa Smartwatches board so we can keep the forums organized.
