What's Up with Versa Bike App and distance?

 I have a new Versa and I'm getting worried. I ride and ride and no mileage is calculated. Just time and BPM. GPS maps the ride accurately, but no mileage. Help!

 

Fyi, I'm also not getting accurate distance on my walks either. Again, the walk is mapped pretty accurately but the distance is off. Help again!

Happy with Versa look & feel but disappointed in distance tracking.

Same problem here.

he is also counting steps during Bike rides en even car rides!!!

@pdxalexa and @Madeloncm. I think I know why the mileage is less.  I walked what is supposed to be 3.29 miles.  My Versa says I walked 2.13 miles.  I started the walk exercise on the Versa and waited for it to connect.  After starting, during the entire walk, I noticed it was constantly "connecting".  Since it was pretty much in a constant state of "connecting" to my phone, it calculated the mileage wrong.  The first time I took this same route it said I walked 2.76 miles and it didn't even produce a map of my route. Today it did. I'm not sure why that happened.  Anyway, I have since turned on "Always Connected" and "Keep Alive Widget" and that seems to help with the connectivity issue I haven't tried it yet on my 3 + mile walk but I will update this post when I do and I will let you know if it drains the battery on the phone and/or the Versa more quickly than normal

Thanks Shelly. I forgot to add the issue with it always saying connecting.
I'm having the same thing happen during any exercise I try to track via a
Versa app.
