I’ve read all the previous things on here and cannot find the exact problem but I apologise if I missed it. I have a Versa 2 and notifications are coming in from only 4 apps off my phone.
it doesn’t give me an option on the list for any others especially WhatsApp that I use the most.
i can’t turn it on in notifications as it’s not even listed. I’m beginning to think I should have just got an Apple Watch instead now unless someone can help me please.
I’ve been through the internet and all the settings it’s now driving me nuts please help

someone. I have an iPhone 11 for info woth latest iOS.

Hello @kingal1970

Have you tried to disable all your notifications then enable them again? Worth trying. Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Versa 2. Next scroll down and tap notifications. Disable all the notifications, Sync your Versa 2, then log out of the Fitbit App, restart your phone then log back into the Fitbit App and enable your notifications again. Again sync your Versa 2.

Please note that you need to get at least one notification from WhatsApp before it will show up in your Fitbit notification options. If you have and it’s still not working I’d try reinstalling the Fitbit App. You won’t lose any data doing so.

Reinstalling the Fitbit App might prompt the initialization of linking the fitbit to phone permissions again. Log out of the Fitbit App, turn off your Bluetooth, restart your phone the turn your Bluetooth back on. Reinstall the Fitbit App then log back in to the app as you normally would.

Now tap on your profile picture, scroll down and tap Versa 2 then scroll down and tap notifications. Ensure all your notifications are enabled. Now, while on the same page tap App notifications and enable your desired apps. Sync your Versa 2 to accept any changes you have made.

If the issue persist please check your settings:

  1. On your phone's settings, tap Notifications.
  2. Scroll down and tap WhatsApp.
  3. Make sure:
Notification Center is selected under Alerts.
Show Previews is set to either Always or When Unlocked.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Try receiving a WhatsApp notification now to test your Versa 2

Look at this settings as well:

1. Go to your Bluetooth and find Versa 2

2. Tap on the blue information icon to the right of Versa 2

3. Turn on Share System Notifications.

‘After digging around a bit I also found this article here that gives a step by step on how to set up the WhatsApp but interestingly they used the locked screen method. Certainly worth a shot if other tips are still not helping: https://dillonstechguide.com/how-do-i-get-whatsapp-notifications-on-my-fitbit-how-to-guide/

😃 I’m hoping this helps. Please let me know

Hi thanks for the instructions you sent. I was playing around with it before I read them and it turned out I hadn’t set my location country - I did this and the option became available- no idea if it matters or indeed why it should matter but it works now - not may apps seem to show notifications though so I should have bought the Apple Watch to start with. But thanks again and I can use it for a few things so it ok. 😊
