WhatsApp notifications won't come through my Versa 2

Hey,

I have tried everything I’ve seen on these forums to get WhatsApp notifications on my Versa 2 with no success. I’ve toggled everything on and off, reinstalled the app. Any new ideas? My partner has the same watch and gets them no problem.

Thanks

Hi there, @LSC01. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

To better assist you, would you mind sharing with me all the steps you've performed in order to solve this issue? In the meantime, please check this help article Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones

On a side note, I was wondering if you've never ever received WhatsApp notifications before? or they stopped coming through your Versa 2 recently?

I've moved your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches board for organization purposes.

Hi there

i have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, this going off notifications for all apps and back on, restarting my Fitbit, I’ve made sure all system notifications are being shared. I have never received them on my watch ever but my partner gets them, we got the watches at the same time and they are both Versa 2 models. I’ve tried doing everything in the troubleshooting link you have sent again just now, and still doesn’t work 😞

thanks

@LSC01 Thanks for those details. I understand how you must be feeling.

Are you guys using the same mobile phone to sync your Fitbit devices?

As our last resort, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device again.
  • Set up notifications on your Fitbit device again.

Let me know how it goes.

I’m having a similar issue, although I have always received notifications to my Versa 2. Since unpairing and repairing it this morning, my list of apps I can sync to the watch is now down to 10. No WhatsApp, no messenger etc.
I’ve done all the troubleshooting available and still no luck!

Hi Marre,

We both have an iPhone. Tried all the options, nothing seems to work. Should have stuck with the Apple Watch 🤣

Thanks anyway
