Hi there @Subodh_Benjamin, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa isn't receiving WhatsApp notifications, I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll be glad to help you.

If you haven't done so yet, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided here: Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Please know Fitbit products are compatible with most devices that have the following operating systems: Apple iOS 12.2 or higher, Android OS 7.0 or higher, and Windows 10 version 1607.0 or higher. For the latest list of devices that support the Fitbit app for Android, see Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. Be sure to verify that your phone or tablet meets the minimum operating system requirements.

This doesn’t help. My device and phone are compatible. It’s not connecting to WhatsApp.

Hi there @Ragaxxa74, thanks for stopping by and for following the tips and recommendations provided in the Community Forums.

Since you're setting up notifications, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell someone to send a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected. To find the step-by-step, see: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

You can choose 1 app per category. The most common apps for these features are:

  • Calls—Dialer
  • Text messages—Messages
  • Calendar events—Calendar
  • Emails—Gmail

However, WhatsApp is found within "App Notifications" where you can find all the third-party apps you want notifications from.

Please note that for "Text Messages" section you can only select your primary text messaging app (that can be WhatsApp, your phone's default Message app or any other). However, in "App Notifications" section you can select more apps, for example if you decided that for your primary text messaging app you want it to be WhatsApp, in App Notifications you can enable Messages app.
