When I sync my Versa it deletes the last steps tracked

I bought my versa today, went through the full set up and since I've been wearing it the step count has been looping. I started at ~5,800 steps from my blaze count. I've been walking on a treadmill for an hour and the step count will go up normally, then when it syncs with my phone it kicks the steps back down to around 5,800 steps. Like I said I've been walking on a treadmill for over an hour, and it essentially has given me credit for about 200 steps even though I've seen the step count as high as 6,900 (temporarily). I've seen some threads talking about turning mobile tracker off but I don't have that option on my app on my google pixel.

I'm getting so many steps right now and no credit for my weekly challenge...pls help!

Hello there @rnoell14, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I was reading your step count is stuck in a loop after you sync with the Dashboard. I'm wondering if the step count is only not recognized in the Fitbit app or the count is also resetting to 5,800 steps in your Fitbit tracker?

Is your tracker firmware and Fitbit app updated to the last versions? For more help the following article might be of your help:

- How do I update my Fitbit device?

- What's changed in the latest release of the Fitbit app?

How it goes so far is the issue still persisting? If the issue continues, perhaps a restart will do the trick: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hope this get you back on track. See you around!
