I do appreciate Fitbit making it where I can see some notifications after months of not having any notifications, but it is very frustrating that I still cannot get text notifications on my Fitbit Versa. Expensive "smart" watch does no good without being able to get the notifications promised. Yes, my Fitbit is up-to-date, and yes, my IPhone is up-to-date. Just hoping Fitbit fixes this problem sooner rather than later. Very annoying and does not make me want to buy the Versa2!

Hi @jpinkfrog76 , just to put this matter into perspective: during the update to iOS13 by Apple, it changed the rules regarding the handling of the notifications without notifying Fitbit about it. So now Fitbit is working very hard so solve a problem caused by Apple and as you can notice they make progress. you're able to get more notifications than just after the iOS update, but indeed still not texts. Fitbit has a Beta version before the iOS update. No excuses, Fitbit. Keep selling your products when you know they don’t do what you claim. I know. You’re going to delete my post now. It’s like buying a car where the manufacturer knows the gas pedal doesn’t work. But hey, they say, it still starts and you can listen to the radio!

I still aren't able to turn on e-mail notifications. Although the rest does work though. Any solution for this?

You're right there are no excuses; however you are also wrong as Fitbit (and indeed Garmin and other companies) were NOT informed of the changes Apple were making to notifications handling and so everyone is playing catchup. If anything blame Apple as they clearly would prefer you to buy an Apple watch and nothing else!
