It doesn't matter if I search by facebook, name, email, username. It gives me a friend request error. I just got my fitbit today and got it set up and everything.

To try to resolve the issue please follow the next steps:

 

- Log out from the Fitbit app

- Reboot your cellphone

- Log back into the app

 

Make sure to follow the steps in this article to add your friends.

 

Whether this doesn't help, you can attach a screen shot of the error for further investigation.
