Where's the microphone for notification response??

My 18 month old Pebble 2 includes a microphone for voice response to texts and emails.  I also use it for setting reminders.  These are pretty basic functions for a smartwatch.  No AI required.

Come on, Fitbit.  You have to at least match what Pebble had done previously (as a Kickstarter project no less!) for us to want to "upgrade."  Killing-off the functionality of my Pebble without providing an equally functional alternative does not endear me to you.  I suspect other Pebble owners agree.

I totally agree.  They have a great smart watch in the Pebble to pull from and ended up introducing a minor update to the Blaze with less functionality than the Pebbles.

This Pebble owner agrees.  I've been waiting for Fitbit to match my Pebble Time's functionality for years.  The main reason I wear it is for the non-fitness aspects.  The excellent 3rd party app Snowy, a voice controlled personal assistant of sorts, is easily my most used feature.  My Pebble has taken a beating and keeps on ticking, but I know that someday it's going to peter out.  I'd also kinda like some of the features like GPS and on-board music (Audible books?).

Take a look at the tiny Knowles mic module in the Time.  Space is definitely not the reason they have kept leaving it out.

I'm really passionate about this feature.  I went to considerable trouble creating a Fitbit account just to leave my comments here.

Would be nice but it is not going to happen.

Any specific reason you say that? Have Fitbit stated that? To me it's a
no-brainer, at least for a flagship wearable.

I'm with ya! I also have a pebble and was surprised to find out the versa does not have voice to text availability!
