Hello
I am looking to get Fitbit Versa. However, I am concerned to know whether it will allow notifications from Facebook, Snapchat, messenger, email, text messages and incoming calls?
I have looked and a lot of people say no. Can any one tell me for sure if the Versa allows the above notifications?
Thanks in advance
Kate

Yes. It will. I do not have Snapchat but I see no reason why it shouldn't work as Versa receives push notifications that pop up in your phone notification center and have been selected in the Fitbit mobile app (read more here). An advice, please make sure that your phone is supported, or at least browse this forum to see if other users have any issues with syncing this particular phone model with Versa.

Welcome to the Community @Katiewill and @Marrrmaduke thanks for stopping by.
I agree with our friend here, you will be able to receive all these notifications in your Versa, you just need to set them up by following the instructions provide in the help article How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? and as recommended, check if your phone is compatible.
See you around.

Along with this question, will you be able to read the entire text message or email? I just recently found out the Charge 3 will only show 140 characters. Is it the same with the Versa, or can you read the entire message? Thanks!

@Katiewill As both @AlejandraFitbit and I mentioned, you can check the compatibility here. Just follow the link and scroll down to Android Devices. If your phone is not on the list, it doesn't mean it won't work. It means, Fitbit has not tested it yet. You can search this forum to see if other users who own the same phone have any issues with compatibility. Alternatively, you can purchase the device, test it, and if needed return it within 2-week return window (check your retailer for more info).
@Davimee Fitbit Versa will display whatever is shown in the notification drawer of your phone. Depending on the phone model the maximum number of characters for push notifications varies, usually around 400 - 500 characters. This is usually sufficient for text messages. It won't be sufficient for extremely lengthy email as you won't be able to read it in your notification drawer either. Hope that helps.
ETA: @Davimee I did a quick test and texted myself a text of 473 characters (all were shown in my notification drawer), but Fitbit Versa displayed around 250. Still this is sufficient for a regular text message (160 characters). Very rarely my text messages get truncated. Hope that helps.
