Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows which type of MP4 AAC files the Versa can play? Most AAC files, like the default files created in iTunes, are AAC Low Complexity. I assume the Versa can play these files? But what about High Efficiency AAC files? Can the Versa play these?
I've uploaded AAC-LC and AAC-HE versions of the same public domain music here:
It would be great if someone could try to upload both files to their Versa to see which ones work. I am assuming the AAC-LC will work fine. But I am unsure of the AAC-HE file.
Note: This music is from the YouTube public domain music library:

It's great to see you around @ShowsOn.
Regarding your inquiry, the music and podcast file types you can download to your watch depend on whether you use a PC or a Mac. Note that some older songs may not transfer due to copyright protections (known as DRM encryption).
PC:
Mac:
For more information you can check the help article How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch?.
Catch you later.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I use a Windows 10 PC.
I can see the manual says it can play MP4 AAC. But what type of AAC? I assume AAC LC works, but what about AAC HE?
I've created AAC HE and AAC LC files and uploaded them here:
It would be great if you could try to transfer both to your Versa to see which of the files the Versa can play.
Thanks.
