Whole workout not tracked

When I workout my whole workout (weight training or circuits) is not tracked.

Usually it only records about half the total time of my workouts.

I assume it is being paused or something? I have no idea! But it’s extremely frustrating and demotivating! Be great if you could sort this out ASAP otherwise pretty much defeats the point of having a Fitbit! 🙄

@Issy123 it could be that your sleeve or something else is pressing the pause/stop button on the display. Unfortunately,  as of now there's no way of locking the display. Try wearing the tracker on the other hand. I know people doing boxing had problems with gloves. They managed to resolve the issue by switching hands. Just in case you can also reboot the tracker by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo appears.

Thanks @Marrrmaduke

I think it must be when I bend my wrists, (for press ups etc) that is pressing the pause button. I think I saw someone else post about this too.

So as per your suggestion I have been wearing higher up my wrist and/or on my other hand for the past week which seems to have resolved the issue. Thank you! 🙂

Although I’m still pretty astounded that this wasn’t picked up in their product testing!

And to top it off my latest issue is that now my heart rate tracker is not working - seriously you could not make this up!

Great experience so far Fitbit! 🙄

@Issy123 I'm glad it's not pausing now. You mean that HR is not working at all or only in this position? Open Settings app on your Versa, scroll down to heart rate and toggle off/on several times with a reboot of the tracker in-between (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo appears).

Thanks @Marrrmaduke I tried this but to no avail.

Although I have now managed to fix by restarting my device... well at least for now...

And looks like I wasn’t the only one having this issue either.

And as this forum clearly shows how many issues there are with Fitbit products I hope fitbit are taking note and working to fix ASAP.

@Issy123 You should be good. It happens sometimes and reboot resolves it or toggling HR OFF/ON. I am glad it's working now. 🙂
