I have download the fitbit app on my chromebook but it won't let me add music.

Hello @hihihihi45 and welcome to the Community forum.  I'm sorry, but you can't transfer music from a Chromebook.  Music transfer uses a piece of software called Fitbit Connect.  Fitbit Connect is only compatible with Windows 10 and Mac OS.  It isn't compatible with Chrome OS.

It is easy to ask why it isn't compatible now that Google bought Fitbit.  It's unlikely that this will happen.  Fitbit Connect hasn't been updated since 2018.  Fitbit's newest smartwatches can't store personal music.  Fitbit certainly seems to be moving away from storing personal music and is unlikely to make a change for an older device.
