My average pace and the distance run is always less than a friend who does the same run at the same time. Eg we did a 3.7 mile( recorded on my Fitbit/ strava) and my average pace was 10.04 in 37.20 mins and her strava ( not connected to a Fitbit) recorded 3.8 miles average pace 9.35/ mile. Any ideas???

@L1977 Could you please clarify how you record your run? I understand that your friend records hers with the phone by starting the recording in Strava. Do you record yours with Ftbit (by starting Running activity manually on your Versa) and then sync the workout to Strava? Have you tried recording the same run by Fitbit and Strava independently (but at the same time)?

It's possible that your stride lengths could be different, which may be causing the discrepancy.

@L1977 that would explain the difference. Different devices/applications will establish GPS connection sooner or later. Personally I think both recordings are close enough, but I can see how it might be of a nuisance for a runner. You can try running workout in Fitbit in parallel with recording started directly on strava. Make sure you start moving once Fitbit is connected to GPS.
