Why can't I see run splits for my Versa?

I used to be able to go for a run with my Versa (I didn't take a phone with GPS), start the Run exercise, and it would track my pace/splits. Since at least fall of 2020 I haven't been able to see the run splits - only a heart rate zones report. I have turned off the cues in the Android app, and then turned them back on (every .5 miles) and I have runs auto-detected in my app, but I usually select the Run function from the list of exercises. I have the latest update on the Versa. I have turned the phone and Versa off and on repeatedly over the last few months, and ensured all devices are updated. What am I missing?

Hi @rowan2791 are you starting the run recording through your Versa or through the fitbit app on the phone?

I assume you are using the versa.

Before starting the walk exercise, tap the gear icon and customize your settings.

I am starting the run recording through my Versa (not my phone - I don't take the phone on my run). I have customized every setting that I can think of, but I don't see an option to record splits. This run function on my Versa used to automatically generate a run report with splits at the end of my run. I'm not sure which update changed that and I'm not sure if I can get back to that. My spouse has a Versa that still generates run reports with splits and as near as we can tell, we're using the same settings.

See my last post on how to check your run or walk settings. I broke the sentence out.

Or look at your user manual (link to help will be found below) where I found the info.
