The article on multiple devices - click - only states that it's something you can't do.

 

Could be one of the Fitbit Moderators can explain more than the article.

@TH33 Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Thank you for your interest in having both the Ionic and Versa on the same account. As @WendyB and @Odyssey13 have explained currently this isn't possible but you can vote for the idea in our Feature suggestions board. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it. You can also check @ErickFitbit's post here for more information.
