Why does the Fitbit Logo occasionally appear after I've started my exercise activity?

On occasion I will have started my exercise app (specifically the elliptical app) and within the first 2-3 minutes rather than reporting a heart rate, etc. it shows a large icon of the Fitbit app. Does this mean that I have to restart the app? (Which I've been doing to make sure I get credit.) Why does it happen and do I have to be concerned?

@Schnauzer-Mom That's your Versa crashing and it's a "known bug." Maybe it'll even be fixed in the firmware that was just released. You'll probably want to restart the app, though your activity is tracked whether you use the Exercise app or not.
