Why my Fitbit Versa isn’t allowing me to do quick replies?

I have an iPhone 7 and an Fitbit Versa, I went onto the Fitbit app and it will let me edit my answers for quick replies, but when I have received a text and it’s come on the screen of my watch I can only clear it and can’t reply. Can anyone help thanks.

Unfortunately quick replies work only for Android, not with IOS devices.  As I understand it, that is not Fitbit's choice but something within Apple that Fitbit cannot get around.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
