I have reviewed the previous threads, which only contain users' comments of justified disappointment. However, info on the actual answer is not provided.
To the Fitbit team - Is there info on why the feature was removed from Versa3/Sense, while previously available in earlier models? Is there a limitation on the device?

Hi @ajlj - I wish I had an answer for you. I do not. Please keep in mind that you are posting in a Community Forum to other Fitbit users, not “the Fitbit team.” I understand that many people are disappointed with the lack of local music storage, but Fitbit rarely answers questions on why they made various hardware or software changes. You could always try contacting Support but I doubt their Customer Service team members are privy to the reasoning behind this decision either. Sorry.
