Is the Wifi supposed to stay connected if I am in my home where I connected it at or does it disconnect after a certain amount of time?
Obviously it will disconnect after I leave my house, but will it reconnect automatically when I come back into my house?
Mine does not appear to be staying connected and I am having sync issues (just restarted my Versa) so will see if that helps, but not sure what to look for on the Wifi issue.
Thank you.

I don't even have to leave my home for WiFi to disconnect. Anytime I want to connect to Alexa - I have to go to the Fitbit Mobile App and reconnect several times a day. I've also followed ALL the instructions re: the weather and now I can't even get that on my Versa 2. Very frustrating!!!

Thx for responding. Sorry I bothered you. I thought I was asking the question to a public forum. I didn’t know I was asking you privately. I’ll take your advice. Thanks again.

I don't know if you found your answer but the watch does not stay connected to WiFi 24/7. It only connects when you download music, update it, or download apps, if you are not doing these three things it will disconnect immediately. And when you press the network again it will say unchanged in the password space,if the password hasnt changed you don't have to enter it again. It says unchanged in light grey letters. My sleep wasn't working either until I changed my setting to my non dominant wrist, made sure it was tight enough, and held down the power button for ten seconds to restart it, it might also be miscounting steps if the sensitivity level is high, I had to turn mine down because I talk with my hands and it would count those movements as steps even when sitting maybe this will help.

Did you get a simple answer? I have the exact same problem you describe...

Yes I found the answer. The watch only use Wi-Fi for transferring music to your watch. I have no way to proof me as I don't play music

Should the Versa 2 automatically reconnect to WiFi went I come back home?

nope, it is only used for music transfer. so unless you want to move new music on your phone, it won't stay connected.

It doesn't automatically reconnect to the wifi when I connect to charge. I can get it to connect to the wifi, but it only stays connected a few minutes.
How can I fix this problem?
