I recently got my fitbit versa and tried to track my ~6 mile ride, and ended up with this. It took a very long time for the versa to make the connection to my phone when I started the ride activity. (like a minute or so) I already tried restarting both the phone and versa and disconnecting and reconnecting via bluetooth as well. I am using a Samsung Galaxy s10 phone. Not sure what else to try or what may cause this to happen. Battery saving options are disabled on my phone as well.

Yep I got it fixed, I saw some other posts about this issue and someone suggested opening the mobile app and keeping it in the foreground during the ride. I restarted the phone and watch and then reconnected Bluetooth, then opened the app on my phone and set my versa to keep the screen on during the ride so I could check the speed and distance. Everything worked fine after that, thank you!

Hasn't worked for me since last week's update.
Restarted both the phone and the Versa.
BT is on.
App is open on the phone (Pixel 3XL).
I still get straight lines instead of the regular GPS tracking. But I also notice that GPS connect is not working as before -- it keeps trying to connect.
I wish Fitbit would not screw around with the app's UI, making us scroll to see information we had all in one screen before, but would focus its efforts on fixing the connectivity issues it's plagued by.
