Will Fitbit Versa continues to receive updates

Hi I own the Fitbit Versa 1(that I love) and with the announcement of the second Versa I am hoping that the Versa will continue to be updated on Fitbit OS. My Fitbit is fairly new and one of the main reasons I chose the smartwatch was because I assumed it would be updated for several years. Will you please continue to update, I like this brand.

I can't guarantee this, but I am almost certain it will continue to get updates.

Several older models recently still got firmware updates.

And, many of the improvements come via the Fitbit app (irregardless of what you think of the redesign), applying to all models, or perhaps say to all with heart rate monitors or such.
