Will my Versa alert me I have messages waiting while I was out of range?

I just got my Versa a few days ago and love it (had the Alta HR before). Like being able to see my text messages.

Question:  I know you have to be in so many feet to receive notifications; however, it I’m out of range then come back in range will the Versa alert me I have messages waiting?

I am glad to hear that you are happy with your Versa. Now regarding your inquiry, if you received notifications while being out of range, at the moment of being near your phone, your Versa will connect again with your it and will alert you about those notifications. Just keep in mind that it will work better if you have a compatible mobile device.

When I’m out of range with my phone (it’s iPhone and is compatible) and have missed messages once I come back within range it doesn’t notify me that I have messages waiting. I only have found out cause I checked my phone.

I think it only alerts you as they come in, if your phone alerts you.

Now I am not sure what is going on. Originally it only alerted me when messages arrived, but now it is continually alerting me when I am back in bluetooth range to messages that I have already seen on my Versa (and even cleared). It was worse yesterday after I changed to a different clock face, so I wonder if that has something to do with it, but I changed the clock face back and I am still having the issue to some extent.

Worth mentioning that this feature only seems to work when you have all-day sync turned on.
