Will  fitbit versa track my milage if I do not have my phone with me when I cycle?  It seems to always want to connect with my phone.

Hello @Renevz, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for posting your question. Please keep in mind that even when Cycling is a GPS activity on your Versa, if you don't have your phone around for the Versa to connect with it, the watch will still track your mileage. Additionally, if you'd like to skip the GPS on cycling, you can tap on the Exercise Tile in the Versa  > Bike > Gear icon on the top right and scroll down until you see Connected GPS and tap on it to turn it off. Your watch will still track your mileage.

I hope this resolve your inquiry, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
