Hello!
I have Fitbit versa 2. I'm wondering if I'm the only one who doesn't feel like syncing the app every day multiple times. I think it's not okay that there are quick views of exercise, sleep etc and I can't be up to date without constantly syncing my app. I mean the fact that my Versa tracks my exercise and sleep should mean that I can see them on my tracker. Why do I have to sync my app to see things that have already been recorded on my tracker? It is so obsolete and I think it doesn't represent a smartwatch. Versa 2 is not smart without the app. I even can't connect Spotify without going through the app? I mean my phone and fitbit both have bluetooth turned on - why can't they connect themselves.
Really feel like not wearing Fitbit for I constantly forget to sync the tracker and therefore only have data of my daily steps and calories. I thought Versa 2 was smarter than my previous Charge 3, but it's exactly the same, just better looking.

I'm not sure what your definition of smart watch is, both the Charge 3 and Versa 2 run the Fitbit OS.
As for the need to force a sync throughout the day. When you open the app, a sync should be triggered.
Do you have all day sync enabled?

That was one of the many problems I had with the Versa 2. I spent more time trouble shooting the watch than using it. It was beyond frustrating so I returned it to Costco for a full refund. However Fitbit will not refund me the cost of the premium subscription. I will never buy a fitbit product again. My Apple watch is well worth the additional money. I have had zero problems with it!

It is interesting how an Apple designed product, that was designed to work with Apple products work the way Apple has designed them to work together. Do you notice that the Apple watch will not work with Android phones, therefore I say the Apple watch is junk.
The problem Garmin and Fitbit have is that they want a watch that works with 100 different configurations of Android phones, Windows phones( are these still made) and Apple phones. This presents a problem in that Apple has never liked playing nice with third parties, recently even making changes to try and foil third parties from being able to read notifications, they already block third party apps like Garmin and Fitbit from sending responses.
So yes if your an iOS user you may want to stop fighting the Apple company, that can't do anything wrong despite the many fines they pay out every year) and simply do what Apple wants their users to do, stick with Apple products, this also means buying a new watch every 3 years the life expectancy of an AW according to Apple.
I have nothing against apple, but recent changes that they have made, have forced many to switch to Android and or happy they did.
