Woke up and Versa 2 showed 13k steps

Woke up and within 10 mins my Versa 2 was showing 13k steps. 2nd time this has happened in 2 weeks. Ive restarted, deleted and reinstalled the app after the first time it happened. Not sure what is causing this.

Hi @Lybra975, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. Regarding the steps that your Versa showed, I appreciate the time spent trying to get the issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:

• Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
• Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset. 

After this, set up your watch from scratch.

Finally, monitor your Versa 2 and see if it stops tracking steps while you are sleeping.
