Woke up with steps on Versa

I woke up thus morning and had over 29,000 steps recorded for the day. Tried shutting down; not a fix. Any ideas?

Is it near a vibration source like a fan, computet cpu etc? As it can add false steps like that?

I am sorry to hear that your Versa is registering extra information and as our friend here, I would also like to know if there was a fan o anything that may have been buzzing or vibrating on the same surface your Versa was placed on?

My Versa was also near a fan as I took it off last night to give my skin a break.  Is there anyway to delete the 33k steps it recorded? I tried to add 'driving' for the activity duration per the options for fixing and that did not change anything.  Thank you!
