Won't charge with 0% battery

  • My Fitbit versa 3 stopped working.  I have had it charging for two days. I have cleaned the connectors with a soft cloth and with rubbing alcohol.  The screen only shows a battery with a 0% in the middle of it.  I try to  hard start it by holding the side button that doesn't work either.  Does this mean?

Hello there @Cfran1929, nice to see new faces around!

Thanks for sharing this situation with us. Let me share some extra steps with you to see if we can get you back on track!

Can you first confirm if you are using the original charging cable that came with the device? Also, make sure it doesn't have any damage on the charging contacts!

If everything looks about right, can you try changing the power source you are using to connect the cable? The best option is to use a UL-certified wall charger or your computer's USB port!

Yes it's the original cord, I actually charged it just a couple days before
without any issues. I have try different power sources such different wall
outlets and laptop and desktop. I wondering if the battery has just finally
died. Not sure how I could check

@Cfran1929   I want to add one thing regarding the charging cord.  There are many posts from other users who noticed that one of the pins got slightly pushed in.  Look closely at the pins and make sure they all look the same, not pushed in.  It might be the cord.

I have tried three different chargers and mine still won’t charge.

I actually asked a friend who has the same watch , and check to see if it
was the charging cable and it still didn't work. I am starting to think
it's the watch. But thanks for the suggestion
