Won't track swimming and now won't turn on

I set the mode to swimming and it would track up to 200 meters then completely restart the watch and it did this about 6 times before I finally gave up. I was doing laps, I wasn't going deep. This was about a month ago and today the screen just shut off and won't turn on. I tried charging it and the screen won't turn on and I've been holding a variety of buttons for various lengths of time. It's bad enough that most of the apps haven't been working and that it almost never sends push notifications. These fitbits as of late have been having so many problems. It's like they don't do any form of quality control.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? (Or a reliable alternative to the Fitbit)

Hi @Masaryou. It's good to see you here in the Forums and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for letting me know about your watch'es behavior and the steps tried prior posting. I'm sorry that you're going through this experience and let me help you out with this. To see how your watch responds, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Clean the gold contacts on the back of your watch and charging cradle.
  2. Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cradle.
  3. Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  4. Restart your watch one more time.

If the issue persists, please provide me with the model of your watch as well if you're able to see green light on the back. These details will help me to further investigate.

I'll be around, keep me posted.
