Won’t turn on out of the box

Just received my Fitbit versa today and it won’t power on. Nothing happens when placed on the charger or when it is factory reset. Was thinking about switching from Apple Watch to Fitbit but I guess this makes my decision for me. Will be sending it back.

Hey @Lyndsay2jones, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! If your Versa isn't responding, I'd like you to try to charge on different USB ports and then restart it by following these instructions: 

 

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Versa doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

I have the same problem, it won’t charge out of the box. It says it need to update but it needs a certain percentage. I tried to do what you said and it did not work. It’s slowly dying and I don’t know what to do.

If the battery of your Versa isn't charging, I'd like you to make sure to follow the instructions in this help article: How do I charge my Fitbit device? If after trying them, still not charging, please follow these tips to make it work.
